Iris is a true lover of language and literature. With a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Culture, a teaching qualification and a Master’s in Translation Studies under her belt, it’s hardly surprising. In her spare time, Iris loves going to concerts by her favourite (indie) rock bands and scouring record fairs for special editions of her favourite Dire Straits albums.
She also devours films like no other: with her Cineville pass, she visits her favourite cinema at least four times a month. Less enjoyable for her fellow film buffs, however, is Iris’s critical eye for subtitles. After all, she worked as a subtitler herself for two and a half years.
